Info
Bleachers comes to MTELUS in Montreal on June 10, 2026. The project led by singer-songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff, born between New Jersey and New York, has carved out an independent pop sound since the early 2010s that is threaded with alternative rock, synth-pop and a fondness for 1980s new wave. First conceived as a studio playground, Bleachers expands live with a brass section and backing vocals, creating arrangements that build in intensity without abandoning the melodic line.
The setlist draws on Strange Desire (2014) and Gone Now (2017), where immediate choruses and intimate suburban narratives intertwine, then opens onto Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night (2021), ranging from stripped-down ballads to echoes of heartland rock. The album Bleachers (2024) extends this blend by combining analog textures with contemporary pop production. On stage, Antonoff weaves these influences and collaborations into the performance while preserving the project’s indie identity, alternating songs tailored for the live setting with more restrained moments. See you at MTELUS, Montreal, on June 10, 2026.
