Bernard Mabille returns with a new one-man show—more intimate, freer and sharper. On 21 November 2026 at the Théâtre Jean Ferrat in Fourmies, the author and columnist from Les Grosses Têtes deploys his knack for a sharp quip to scrutinize current events, call out verbal tics and the small cowardices of those in power, without overdoing it. A journalist by training and a former writing partner of Coluche, Thierry Le Luron and Anne Roumanoff before making his own mark on stage, he continues the vein of the chansonniers with precise writing, a gift for the perfect turn of phrase and a taste for the right word that you don’t hear much anymore.

Here, Mabille allows himself both confidences and barbs, alternating observation and retort, and confronts the audience with what we sometimes prefer to keep silent. With clear language and a crisp pace, he puts aside effects to let the text, the situation and the double meanings speak for themselves.
