LB aka LABAT will be appearing at La Laiterie, Strasbourg, on 19 December 2026, with a live A/V format and a DJ set. A producer and DJ from Lyon, he forges club music rooted in sampling culture and record-digging, where loops of soul, jazz or funk are cut up and rebuilt around thick basslines and taut, punchy drums. His touch moves between house, techno and breakbeat, with hip‑hop inflections that link boom‑bap heritage to a European club aesthetic.

On stage, LB aka LABAT prioritizes groove and shifts in tempo. The A/V component deploys grainy textures, a focus on rhythmic detail and a visual dimension conceived for dance. The DJ set expands the playground by mixing techno, house, rap, hyperpop and dance music, following a crate‑digger logic that favors coherent transitions. Sharp build‑ups, breaks and more percussive passages alternate without losing momentum, reflecting a taste for bridges between eras and styles.
