On March 17, 2026, Danny Brown will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The Detroit rapper has for years operated on the fringes of hip-hop, with a voice that can squeal high and then land low and contemplative. His lyrics balance dark humor, harsh reality and self-mockery, fueled by a trajectory that instantly put him on the map with The Hybrid and XXX. With Old he unabashedly mixed alternative rap with club energy and experimental production. Atrocity Exhibition pushed that sound further apart, making room for erratic rhythms and jittery brass, while uknowhatimsayin¿ loosened the reins slightly without losing its edge.

On stage, Brown digs through his catalogue, pairing classics with more recent work such as Quaranta and his collaborative project with JPEGMAFIA.
