From Ashes to New

On 14 April 2026, From Ashes to New will perform at Dynamo in Eindhoven. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania–based band around multi-instrumentalist and rapper Matt Brandyberry bridges alternative metal, rap‑rock and nu‑metal, incorporating electronic textures and melodic choruses. Since their early EPs and debut Day One (2016), their signature has been clear: rapped verses set against powerful sung lines, driving riffs and punchy, ear‑catching beats. With The Future (2018) the group shifted toward a more melodic and electronic approach, while the lineup solidified with vocalist Danny Case and guitarist Lance Dowdle. Panic (2020) deepened that blend in a more personal register, and Blackout (2023) brought more nu‑metal accents back to the fore. Live, that tension develops into a direct interplay: tight rhythms, crackling synth layers and choruses that linger, with occasional space for guest vocals drawn from their catalogue. In Eindhoven that evolution will be presented in a set that embraces the trajectory from Day One to Blackout and puts their contrast‑rich sound front and center.
