DEADLETTER - Tour 2026

DEADLETTER will play at Neue Zukunft in Berlin on March 14, 2026. Born out of a circle of friends in London, the band puts language and text first and treats the stage as a storytelling situation rather than a mere playback format. Their pieces emerge like sequences: scansion, ruptures, repeating figures, and a precise feel for timing and punchlines. Syntax here is no embellishment; it structures the drive as strongly as the images it conjures.

The group stays true to its DIY roots: short distances, self-organized productions, closeness to the audience. Live, a song is not rigidly reproduced but reassembled like a direct edit—extended, loaded with interjections. The proceedings remain agile, responding to the space and those present, without distance, more in a brick‑wall setting than in an aloof stage ritual. DEADLETTER uses this tension between text and performance to layer stories, vary motifs, and shift meanings — a set that composes itself in the moment and finds its energy precisely there.
