Ludovico Einaudi

Ludovico Einaudi will take over the gardens of the Château de Chantilly on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 June 2026. An Italian pianist and composer trained by Luciano Berio, he has shaped a recognisable neoclassical style: motifs that unfold through small variations, clear harmonies, and spacious phrasing. On the program are his now-familiar themes — Experience, Una Mattina, Nuvole Bianche — as well as pieces associated with cinema, from Intouchables to Nomadland and The Father. His latest album, The Summer Portraits, continues this introspective, melodic vein.

On stage, the piano leads the way, sometimes accompanied by strings and discreet electronics that broaden the palette without weighing it down. Outdoors, Einaudi plays with dynamics and silences, creating soundscapes that advance in waves, between gentle tension and release. It is an opportunity to be carried along by a repertoire that appeals as much to classical aficionados as to the merely curious, in a setting designed for attentive listening.
