Birkleyn Sound Festival, founded by Ruşan Filiztek, is an independent festival devoted to creative music and living traditions. It takes place from Thursday, April 16 to Saturday, April 18, 2026, at La Marbrerie.
From progressive Kurdish folk to Turkish and Balkan music, from Breton and Irish songs to afro‑folk and blues, from flamenco and classical guitar to Franco‑Iranian lyrical singing, the festival offers a musical journey between heritage and modernity.
Three evenings at La Marbrerie, with trance, poetry, improvisation and hybrid creations. Artists from different backgrounds come together around a single desire: to foster dialogue between cultures in a vibrant, shared musical language.
