Sosocamo - The Big Country Tour

On May 19, 2026, sosocamo brings his The Big Country Tour to Yuca in Cologne. The rapper from rural North Carolina grew up with gospel and choir music and discovered rap early through DIY recording. Drawing on Southern trap, pop sensibility and the codes of the online underground scene, he has developed a melodic approach that combines measured autotune, catchy hooks and precise flows. After initial singles he released the EP Screens (2023) and his debut album No Service (2024), largely created in his parents’ basement after signing a distribution deal with Broke Records. His lyrics revolve around rural isolation, intimacy and pressure; live, intimate vocal parts meet warm 808s and dense rhythms.

On tour, sosocamo is closely supported by executive producer Grayto as well as producers such as Synthetic, Taz Taylor and Rio Leyva. In Cologne he will present new material from the 2026-announced project Big Country alongside tracks from No Service—more energetic and versatile, yet still clearly melody-driven. The set brings the blend of contemporary Southern rap, pop affinity and DIY edge to the stage without losing focus on songwriting and atmosphere.
