Scratch Massive

Scratch Massive returns on May 6, 2026 to L’Autre Canal in Nancy with NOX ANIMA, a new album that pushes further their balance between techno pulses, pop inflections and cold wave atmospheres. Formed in Paris in the late 1990s, the duo brings together Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut around a dark, melodic electronic songwriting crafted like a film score.

From early dancefloor-oriented maxi singles to "Enemy & Lovers" (2003) and then "Nuit de rêve" (2011), Scratch Massive shifted towards sung tracks supported by drum machines, synth pads and guest vocals. At the same time, the group has developed music for visual media—from cinema to television series—which informs their sense of sonic storytelling.

On stage, the project is presented as an immersive live experience, halfway between a set and a concert. NOX ANIMA takes shape through contrasts: restrained tempos, cold grooves, luminous textures and synthetic shadows. A taut, precise journey designed to engage both the ear and the body, with staging that establishes the atmosphere just right.
