Info
On June 12, 2026 at the Bataclan, Keb’ Mo’ appeared solo for a set pared back to the essentials. A guitarist, singer and songwriter from Los Angeles and a multiple Grammy Award winner, he has been carving out since the 1990s a path where blues meets folk, soul and Americana. Armed with an acoustic guitar, a few electric touches and precise picking, he lets his voice and songwriting do the talking, moving between everyday tales, intimate relationships and a discreet social gaze. The stripped-down format highlights the suppleness of his playing and the texture of his songs, from landmarks of his repertoire to more recent tracks like “Good To Be,” “Oklahoma” or “BluesAmericana,” with, depending on the mood, echoes of his collaborations, including TajMo. In the hall, the energy remained muted but lively, the grooves advancing effortlessly and each piece taking its time to establish its mood. A chance to hear Keb’ Mo’ draw on tradition and circulate stories of today.
