On 17 September 2026, Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton welcomes Foo Fighters for the Take Cover Tour, with Queens of the Stone Age and Mannequin Pussy on the bill.
Foo Fighters, formed by Dave Grohl in 1994, bring a catalogue that stretches from the raw punch of their 1995 debut and The Colour and the Shape to recent material from But Here We Are (2023). On stage, the group folds sharp guitar lines and direct melodies into a set that ranges across three decades, driven by Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee.
Queens of the Stone Age arrive with Josh Homme’s riff-first approach born in the desert rock scene. Between repeating patterns and steady grooves, they thread hooks and falsetto lines that have marked records from Rated R and Songs for the Deaf to In Times New Roman (2023), shaping a sound that leans heavy without losing clarity.
Opening, Mannequin Pussy comes out of the Philadelphia punk circuit with tracks that swing from abrasive bursts to melodic turns. From GP and Romantic to Patience and I Got Heaven (2024), the band keeps arrangements tight and dynamic, shifting pace without letting the tension drop.
