Sam Roberts Band

Montreal’s Sam Roberts Band brings its melody-driven rock to The KEE to Bala in Bala, Canada on September 5, 2026. Led by singer-guitarist Sam Roberts, the group crafts songs that balance sharp guitars, solid hooks and introspective lyrics. The early spark came with the 2002 EP The Inhuman Condition and the breakthrough We Were Born in a Flame, followed by Chemical City and Love at the End of the World. From Collider onward, the project fully leaned into a collective band identity, opening space for keys and rhythmic detours without losing its guitar core.

The later run — Lo-Fantasy, TerraForm, All of Us and 2023’s The Adventures of Ben Blank — nudges the formula toward subtle psych shades and a light pop tint, keeping the groove steady and the choruses close at hand. On stage, the band strings together wiry riffs, driving tempos and melodies that stick, letting new tracks sit alongside longtime staples in a set built for momentum and contrast. A straightforward, lived-in rock show from a group that writes for the album and plays for the room.
