Info
On April 13, 2026 at L'Escogriffe, Montreal, Lala Lala takes the stage. The project of musician Lillie West, born in London, raised in Los Angeles and shaped by Chicago's DIY scene, Lala Lala moves between indie rock and indie pop with a touch of post‑punk. Guitars up front, measured tempos and clear melodies shape songs that seek a balance between lo‑fi roughness and the precision of the arrangements. Sleepyhead (2016) laid the groundwork; The Lamb (2018) on Hardly Art refined the harmonies and dynamics; and I Want The Door to Open (2021) broadened the palette with more electronic textures and vocal layering, without abandoning introspective lyrics. On stage, the project moves forward deliberately, allowing the voice to fill the space and letting tension build with restraint.
Mother Soki shares the bill that evening, bringing another perspective to the lineup and a complementary presence to this concert at L'Escogriffe.
