On March 14, 2026, at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Live brings the Like A Rollin Thunder Tour with Big Wreck and The Damn Truth.
Live formed in York, Pennsylvania around singer-guitarist Ed Kowalczyk and shaped a 90s alternative rock sound built on chiming and overdriven guitars, direct melodies and lyrics with a spiritual, introspective edge. From Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper to Secret Samadhi, their catalogue feeds a set that moves between tension and release, with Kowalczyk’s voice back at the center since his return.
Big Wreck, led by Ian Thornley, adds weight and detail: hard rock punch, progressive turns and blues colors, long-lined guitar parts and shifts in dynamics honed from Albatross to the 7.x EPs.
The Damn Truth, from Montreal, taps into a 70s-rooted blues rock vein. Lee-La Baum’s grainy, soul-tinged vocal fronts twin guitars and a tight rhythm section, sliding from slow burns to thicker, fuzzed grooves.
