dEUS brings the Worst Case Versus In A Bar Tour to the Metropol - Neues Schauspielhaus in Berlin on 25 March 2026. Since the early ’90s, the Antwerp-based band led by singer and guitarist Tom Barman has been known for a mix of indie, experimental and art rock: angular guitars, melodic lines, violin and keyboards meet nonlinear song structures. The focus is on the albums Worst Case Scenario (1994) and In a Bar, Under the Sea (1996).
In concert, the contrasts between more direct songs and more openly composed pieces are emphasized, ranging from rougher bursts to quieter moments. In addition to these classics, the band points to a discography that stretches from The Ideal Crash (1999), through the 2000s, up to How to Replace It (2023). dEUS here demonstrates the breadth of their songwriting: melodies with edges, rhythmic hooks, and meticulous attention to arrangement — without committing to a single formula.
