Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

Mighty Oaks bring their indie-folk to Hanover: on 16 November 2026 at Capitol Hannover. Formed in Berlin, the trio brings together American singer and guitarist Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and British Craig Saunders. Their songs rely on acoustic guitars, clear melodies and multi-part harmonies, with lyrics that draw on North American folk traditions while still finding their own, European voice.

Coming out of the Berlin scene, the band early on made its way onto European stages. With Howl (2014) Mighty Oaks defined their blend of folk, pop and subtle hints of rock. Dreamers (2017) opened up the sound with broader arrangements, while All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021) increasingly incorporate electric and atmospheric textures, without losing sight of the core—the interplay of voices.

On stage, Mighty Oaks translate their songs into direct, dense moments that oscillate between intimacy and a drive toward the chorus. In Hanover they will perform songs from across their career, from Howl to Mexico, carried by multi-part singing and a keen sense of dynamics.
