Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

On 28 November 2026 Mighty Oaks will play at the Halle Im Wizemann in Stuttgart. The Berlin-based folk trio — featuring US singer and guitarist Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and Briton Craig Saunders — builds on acoustic foundations, direct melodies and tightly arranged harmonic vocals. Their songs blend North American-influenced storytelling with a European indie-folk approach, carried by guitar, bass, keys and sparse percussion.

Since Howl (2014) and Dreamers (2017) the band has continued to develop its sound between folk, pop and subtle rock hues; on All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021) electric and atmospheric layers were added, without moving the choral singing out of the centre. Live, Mighty Oaks alternate between intimate acoustic passages and more densely constructed sections, where multi-part choruses shape the dynamics.

For Stuttgart, expect a set that brings together early material and current songs. The focus will be on choral voices, clear hooklines and a reduced, close sonic image that holds up even on a larger scale. Melodies remain direct, and the lyrics work with a calm, introspective tone.
