Ron Sexsmith - Tour 2026

Ron Sexsmith will play the Frannz Club in Berlin on August 18, 2026. The Canadian songwriter from St. Catharines has stood since the early 1990s for an understated blend of folk, pop and subtle rock. Already with his self-titled 1995 album, produced by Mitchell Froom, he relied on melodic, uncluttered songs and lyrics that portray relationships and everyday life without pathos. This was followed by Other Songs (1997) and Whereabouts (1999), Blue Boy (2001) produced by Steve Earle, as well as Cobblestone Runway (2002), Retriever (2004) and Long Player Late Bloomer (2011) with Bob Rock. More recent works such as Hermitage (2020) and The Vivian Line (2023) continue this approach.

On stage, Sexsmith focuses on concentrated songwriting, gentle dynamics and a voice that carries without grand gestures. The setlist mixes new material with older songs and moves between delicate folk and classic pop sensibilities, leaving room for short stories between numbers. An intimate concert that stays close to his songs.
