DI-RECT - Clubtour 2026

DI-RECT will play on 19 March 2026 at the Backstage Kulturzentrum in Munich. The band from The Hague began in the late ’90s with powerful rock straddling pop-punk and post-grunge and has gradually opened up its sound ever since. After early successes around Discover, more melodic colors came to the fore on All Systems Go! and This Is Who We Are. With the switch to singer Marcel Veenendaal in 2009, more refined arrangements arrived, where guitars meet keys, orchestration and soulful nuances—without losing the rock foundation.

On the 2026 club tour, DI-RECT picks up precisely this tension: driving riffs, compact grooves and catchy choruses carried by Veenendaal’s warm voice. Songs from their newer records like Rolling with the Punches and Wild Hearts sit alongside earlier material, often alternating between angular rock and airy, groove-driven passages. The set is conceived close to the audience, with energy, dynamics and moments where the band stretches their songs or strips them down to the essentials—just as they’re known to do in their Dutch club shows.
