Alexis Taylor - Paris In The Spring Tour

On April 21, 2026, at the Privatclub in Berlin, Alexis Taylor, singer and keyboardist of Hot Chip, presents his solo project. Under the banner of the Paris In The Spring Tour, he foregrounds the quiet, direct side of his songwriting: pared-down forms, subtle electronics, and plenty of space for voice and piano. Live, Taylor alternates between piano pieces and subtly club-oriented setups, working with repetition, a slow groove, and a melody that remains close to the song while the textures gently push rather than overwhelm.

The set touches on various chapters of his discography — from Rubbed Out through Nayim From The Halfway Line, Await Barbarians and Piano to Beautiful Thing and Silence — and links intimate songwriting with electronic sketches.
