Fiddler´s Green & Support

On 24 April 2026, Fiddler’s Green will bring their speedfolk to Music Hall Worpswede e.V. in Worpswede. Since 1990, the band from Erlangen has been blending Irish and Scottish traditional melodies with rock and punk energy. The result: fast-paced folk with driving rhythms, memorable sing-along choruses and plenty of space for instrumental passages. Live, the group mixes original songs with newly arranged traditionals and alternates between acoustic warmth and electrically amplified punch.

Their sound has been honed across numerous albums, including Wall Of Folk, Sports Day at Killaloe, Winners & Boozers, Devil’s Dozen, Heyday and most recently The Green Machine. On stage the sextet relies on direct engagement, clear hooks and dynamic tempo changes that translate the character of pub sessions into a concert setting. Expect a compact set that traces the band’s development without losing the core of fiddle, mandolin, accordion, guitar and a powerful backbeat. A support act will open the evening and lay the groundwork for Fiddler’s Green’s speedfolk.
