Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

Mighty Oaks return to where it all began: the Berlin-based folk trio—fronted by American singer and guitarist Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and Briton Craig Saunders—will take the stage on 9 December 2026 at Neue Welt in Berlin. Since the early 2010s, the band has shaped its sound from acoustic guitars, clear melodies and tightly arranged harmonies—lyrics that draw on the North American folk tradition while keeping a contemporary perspective.

With Howl (2014) Mighty Oaks laid a foundation between folk, pop and a touch of rock. Dreamers (2017) opened the door to more expansive arrangements, before All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021) introduced electric and atmospheric hues—the multi-part vocals have remained the centrepiece throughout. Live, the trio thrives on a balance of stillness and momentum, on moments that begin small and gradually unfold. The set draws from all phases of the band’s history, pairing intimate songs with organically building climaxes and always keeping the focus on the interplay of the three voices. An evening for anyone who appreciates handcrafted indie folk without frills—close to its roots and to its city.
