Info

A leading figure in francophone song at the crossroads of rock, pop and electronic music, Stephan Eicher continues his stage story with the Poussière d’or tour. First revealed in the 1980s and firmly established with Engelberg, he built a repertoire in collaboration with Philippe Djian, which gave rise to “Déjeuner en paix,” “Tu ne me dois rien,” and “Pas d’ami (comme toi).” On 24 July 2026, he returns to Cannes, to the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, backed by his 18th album, Poussière d’or.

Conceived at the piano and on guitar, nourished by lyrics from Philippe Djian and Martin Suter, this new collection of songs was shaped in a spirit of collective play. On stage, Eicher emphasizes the band’s momentum, blending strings, guitars and electronic touches, and moves between languages and moods without resorting to affectation. Recent tracks sit alongside his classics within arrangements that breathe, for a concert focused on what matters: the voice, the melodies and the art of storytelling.
