Patson returns with Baltazar, his new stand-up, on March 1, 2026 at the République in Paris. A graduate of the Jamel Comedy Club, he has developed a direct, highly conversational stand-up style nourished by urban culture and diasporas. In Baltazar, he takes the stage solo again, mic in hand, to observe everyday life, the cultural clashes between Côte d’Ivoire, the Antilles and mainland France, and those moments everyone recognizes. With a clipped pace, rapid-fire transitions and an instinct for improvisation, he goes all out and dishes out jokes for every profile — from the neighbor to the family, from politicians to lingering clichés. You’ll find his trademarks — “Yes Papa” and his footwork — and a constant closeness with the audience, in a true American-style stand-up designed for a direct, face-to-face exchange. Baltazar distills what defines him: plain-speaking, energy and a playful, teasing take on the times.
