Bilmuri - Kinda Hard Tour

Bilmuri, the project of American musician Johnny Franck (formerly of Attack Attack!), will be at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on June 15, 2026, as part of the Kinda Hard Tour. Born as a solo venture in Columbus, Ohio, Bilmuri has been built on the fringes of conventional circuits, with regular independent releases that draw a clear line between post-hardcore, melodic metalcore and emo-pop. In the studio it functions as a one-man band; on stage the project becomes a group with a flexible lineup, designed to combine taut riffs, sung choruses and electronic textures, sometimes augmented by brass that upend the genre’s conventions.

Across records such as Rich Sips, Eggy Pocket, Goblin Hours and American Motor Sports, Bilmuri has shifted the emphasis toward more vocal-driven compositions while retaining energy and a sense of contrast. The Kinda Hard Tour highlights this rougher side of the catalogue without relinquishing melody, with tight transitions, effective breaks and hooks that stick. The set is conceived to move between tension and release, propelled by direct songwriting informed by online culture and a genuine DIY ethos.
