On April 14, 2026, at the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne, James K presents live the world of Friend, her third album released on AD93. A New York–based artist, vocalist and producer, Jamie Krasner treats the voice as a primary material and weaves it into a fabric of deconstructed pop, ambient and experimental electronic music, with shoegaze undertones and a trip‑hop legacy. On stage, her tracks alternate between stretched-out passages, noise textures and fragmented rhythms, balancing minimal melodic lines with stripped-down arrangements.

Having emerged from DIY scenes between New York and Europe, she founded the label She Rocks! and has collaborated with Moin, Oli XL, Mykki Blanco and Yves Tumor. A resident on NTS with the show Trip Lick, she has also contributed mixes for Dekmantel, Crack and KEXP. At the Transbordeur, her set takes the form of a hybrid format in which voice, synths and vocal processing answer one another, shaping a performance that is both physical and introspective, conceived to blur the boundary between club and song.
