The Lemon Twigs

The Lemon Twigs land in Vancouver with their two-headed songwriting engine: brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario. Raised in a musical family on Long Island, they’ve shaped a sound that blends power pop, orchestral touches and clear nods to the 60s and 70s. Tight vocal harmonies, brisk tempo shifts and melodic hooks run through their records, from Do Hollywood (4AD, 2016) and the EP Brothers of Destruction (2017) to the narrative turn of Go to School (2018) and the more direct Songs for the General Public (2020). Since Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024) on Captured Tracks, their writing leans toward reflective pop rock, rich in layers and harmonies, without losing their taste for sharp riffs and concise songs. On stage, the brothers rotate between guitar, bass, drums and keys, backed by an expanded band that keeps the set agile and lively.
