Poetic Lover Tour

Les Poetic Lover mark their return to the stage, driven by the same passion that shaped their identity. Formed in Paris around Dré, Little T, Rod and Jay Kamel, the quartet left its mark on the late 1990s with pinpoint vocal harmonies and French-language R&B inspired by the American scene. First brought to public attention in 1997 on the talent show Graines de star, the group followed with memorable hooks—from "Prenons notre temps" to "Qu’est-ce qui pourrait sauver l’amour"—before keeping a low profile in the early 2000s. Their comeback revives a collective history of hushed slow jams, polished backing vocals and sentimental lyrics.

In Poitiers, Les Poetic Lover will present a set that revisits their signature songs and opens a window onto new creative directions, on 25 June 2026 at Republic Corner, 6 rue des Bonnetiers. It will be an opportunity to rediscover the vocal chemistry that defined a generation, between R&B ballads and mid-tempo grooves, in a contemporary version that remains faithful to the group’s DNA. The event is aimed both at those who grew up with their songs and at curious listeners ready to (re)discover a touchstone of French R&B.
