Les Bodin's « Grandeur nature »

Les Bodin’s return with Grandeur Nature, the show that sets the farm on stage and plunges back into the rural world that became their trademark. Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet revive their favourite characters, Maria, the straight-talking farmwoman, and Christian, the son who stayed on the farm. Between family tensions, somewhat intrusive neighbours and minor administrative battles, the duo delivers crisp, tightly crafted dialogue and situations that go off the rails just enough, while keeping the concrete detail of everyday agricultural life. Originally created outdoors on a farm in Touraine, Grandeur Nature was adapted for an indoor tour and is back on the road in 2027, continuing their thirty-year career. A richly detailed set, a barn and farmyard transposed onto the stage, a lilting accent and a sharp eye for observation: the whole world of Les Bodin’s unfolds before the audience, balancing family warmth with well-timed barbs.
