Sheila will make a stopover on 4 February 2026 at Espace Étincelle in Bergerac for a concert that traces a rare trajectory in French pop. Emerging in the early 1960s, she first established herself on the yé-yé scene before evolving her music toward a more mature pop, then diving into disco with Sheila & B. Devotion. Notably, she recorded a memorable funk and dance chapter alongside Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards on the album King of the World, followed by a series of pop and synth-pop tracks in the 1980s.
On stage today, she blends her classics from the sixties and seventies, her English-language disco hits and more recent songs in a set designed for the venue. With pop energy, unmistakable songs and close rapport with the audience, this live performance highlights what makes Sheila unique: a way of moving through eras without abandoning the choruses that have accompanied several generations.
