Info
Maddox Batson brings his Live Worldwide Tour to Théâtre Beanfield in Montréal on 12 March 2026. Born in 2009 in Hermitage, Tennessee and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, the singer-songwriter leans into a melodic pop country rooted in the Nashville tradition. After a knee injury sidelined him from sports in 2022, he turned to music with his father, posting covers that led to meetings with managers and labels. Signed by Prosper Entertainment and Warner Records, he played his first shows in 2023 while switching to homeschooling to follow the pace of touring and writing.
His debut single Tears in the River arrived in 2024, followed by I Wanna Know, Southbound, Southbound (Acoustic) and X’s, laying out a mix of reflective ballads and direct choruses. In 2025, he released I Don’t Like You Anymore, Girl in Green, God Talkin’, No More and Coincidence, plus a first EP, First Dance, quickly followed by First Dance (The After Party), both on Prosper and Warner. On stage, he has appeared at CMA Fest and the Grand Ole Opry, moving between headline shows and support slots. Influences range from Morgan Wallen, George Strait and Garth Brooks to Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra and Playboi Carti, shaping writing that blends country storytelling, pop melodies and contemporary touches.
