Info
Rush brings Fifty Something to Rogers Arena in Vancouver on 18 December 2026. Formed in Toronto in 1968, the Canadian power trio carved a path between hard rock, progressive rock and, at times, heavy metal. From the blues-rock feel of their debut to the structured, conceptual sweep of 2112 and Moving Pictures, the band—stabilized from 1974 around Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart—built songs with long forms, shifting time signatures and sharp melodic lines. Peart’s lyrics lean into science fiction, introspection and social questions, giving the music a narrative charge without losing momentum.
The 1980s brought more synths and new wave textures with albums like Signals, before a gradual return to a more guitar-forward sound through the 1990s and 2000s on Vapor Trails and Clockwork Angels. On stage, the trio format keeps the interplay front and center, with arrangements that balance precision and dynamics. Fifty Something points to a set that traces this journey across decades, from early epics to later cuts. The show takes place at Rogers Arena, 800 Griffiths Way, Vancouver, Canada.
