Info
Hatsune Miku, the voicebank-turned-virtual singer created by Crypton Future Media in 2007, lands in Hamilton for EXPO 2026 North America. Built from Saki Fujita’s recordings, her clear, synthetic timbre powers a global network of producers who write J-pop, electro-pop, dance and EDM with anime-inflected visuals. On stage, Miku appears via 3D projection with live musicians, linking the online world of remixes and collaborations to the physical space of a concert.
On May 14, 2026 at TD Coliseum, 101 York Boulevard, Hamilton, Canada, the show brings a set shaped by the Vocaloid community: songs born on video platforms, reworked arrangements, and visuals designed for the big room. More than a classic band format, it’s a meeting point between DIY creation and professional production, where a digital singer carries music authored by many hands and constantly renewed by its audience.
