Peter Noone, voice and face of Herman’s Hermits, brings back the sharp, melodic beat-pop that took the band from Manchester to the US charts. Built on brisk tempos, sing-along refrains and a hint of British music hall, their songs ran through the mid-sixties under the guidance of producer Mickie Most. The group stacked more than 60 million records sold and 20 Top 40 hits, from I’m Into Something Good and Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter to I’m Henry VIII, I Am.
