Mo Gilligan - The Mo You Know

Mo Gilligan brings The Mo You Know to Edmonton, a stand-up hour rooted in his South London background and a knack for observing the everyday. Born in 1988 and raised between Lambeth and Camberwell with Jamaican and Saint Lucian heritage, he first made waves with short sketches online before building his writing on club stages across the UK. His comedy moves through family dynamics, work life and class, with recurring characters and references to the Caribbean diaspora, grime and UK rap shaping the rhythm of his set.

On Channel 4 he teamed up on The Big Narstie Show, then took the helm of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, mixing jokes, live music and guests from across creative scenes. He tours internationally and released the special Mo Gilligan: Momentum in 2019, while keeping stand-up at the center of his work.
