Info

On March 17, 2026, Danforth Music Hall in Toronto hosts The Mary Wallopers, the Dundalk group formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy with their friend Sean McKenna. First an acoustic trio revisiting Irish ballads in local pubs, they’ve grown into a fuller live band without losing the direct pulse of guitars, banjo and communal voices. Their songs weave popular tales and social snapshots with a dry sense of humour, carrying a pub-session spirit from DIY videos to stages across Ireland, the UK and Europe. A Mouthful of The Mary Wallopers (2019) set the tone before the self-titled album in 2022 and Irish Rock ’n’ Roll in 2023, mixing tradition with originals.

Sharing the bill, Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster brings folk-rooted storytelling with an indie edge. First noticed at BOSS nights and pub sets linked to Liverpool FC, he moved from terrace reworks to original songs about work, city life and inequality. We Get By (2020) introduced his direct writing, Moments (2022) broadened the sound with a full band, and 10 For The People (2024) pushes the narrative thread, balancing intimate portraits and plainspoken, collective choruses.
