Martin Levac « Phil Collins et Genesis »

After twenty years portraying Phil Collins on stage, Québécois drummer-vocalist Martin Levac shifts his focus and presents a more personal concert. On November 21, 2026, at Théâtre Capitole, 972 rue Saint-Jean, Québec, he revisits the period 1971–1991, from Genesis’s early years to the standout songs of Collins’s solo career. Surrounded by his musicians from Dance Into The Light, he moves through progressive rock, pop and ballads, showing how this music has shaped his life as a musician and his stage trajectory.

Spotted around the turn of the 2000s with The Musical Box, Levac has established himself as a performer and arranger of a repertoire he knows inside out. Behind the drums as well as at the mic, he relies on the energy of his playing and on textures close to the era’s sounds, while allowing his own perspective to emerge. This concert forges a connection between his path and that of Genesis/Collins, with nods to landmark albums and an approach grounded in the present.
