Info
Charlotte Dipanda, a Cameroonian singer, has forged her identity between acoustic folk, gentle pop and rhythms inherited from makossa. Her signature lies in a measured voice, clear melodies and spare arrangements where the guitar leads, supported by backing vocals and delicate percussion. On 16 May 2026 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels she will present a set that draws on her entire trajectory, between intimate ballads and songs more rooted in the pulses of Central Africa. Her sensitive lyrics, in French and in Cameroonian languages, are carried by a simple and direct stage presence. Without unnecessary effects, her songs play on proximity and nuance, telling of relationships, exile and transmission. Between standout tracks and more recent material, the concert promises a coherent through-line designed to showcase voice and songwriting. An ideal occasion to (re)discover an artist who advances in small, measured steps and leaves room for listening.
