On March 26, 2026, at the FGO Barbara in Paris, M.A.O. Cormontreuil brought together Marianne Mérillon (Black Bones, The Bewitched Hands), Anthonin Ternant (Black Bones, Angel, The Bewitched Hands) and Odilon Horman (Chester Remington, Black Bones). Hailing from Reims, the trio cultivate dance-ready pop and regularly release new tracks. On stage, their set is compact and conceived like an indie-house mixtape played live, with songs answering one another through electro transitions. The tempo climbs gradually, from 90 to 150 bpm up to a final peak. Their visual identity is built around a fictional agency and equally imaginary offices, a nod to the DIY spirit that guides their production and to the early days of computer-assisted music (M.A.O.) in the 2000s.
Mon cher Guy, a DJ and indie-dance producer, claims an electro-cowgirl energy and a fairground aesthetic with cinematic overtones. Spotted on the underground electro scene as early as 2022 with dates at the Rex Club, Le Sucre in Lyon, the Badaboum and the Warehouse in Nantes, she widened her scope in 2024. Her EP Cowboy Circus, released on June 13, launched her first live-set tour, conceived as a dark big-top carried by galloping compositions. Two guest appearances feature on it, with Les Clopes and with Alice et Moi, further anchoring her sidestep between contemporary pop and club music.
