Info
Bernard Allison plays a blues rooted in the Chicago tradition and open to rock inflections. An American guitarist and singer and the son of Luther Allison, he has forged over years of touring a taut, precise style nourished by soul, funk and rock, without losing the grain of the blues. After a rich and varied discography, he released in 2024 Luther's Blues, a double tribute to his father that clearly expresses his relationship to tradition: respected, but never rigid.
On stage he strides forward: sharp riffs, solos that take their time to tell a story, and a grainy voice that slides from plaintive tones to groove. You’ll hear reworked classics, recent songs, taut boogies and darker ballads, all played with a collective energy that leaves space for the band.
In Montluçon he will set up his amps on 13 March 2026 at Le 109 - L’Embarcadère Montluçon for a blues‑rock set where heritage and the present meet, carried by a tight‑knit group.
