On May 8, 2026 at the Rockstore Montpellier, Zentone brings together Zenzile and High Tone, two pillars of the French dub scene, for a set conceived as a live laboratory. Born from their meeting, the project stages a dialogue between deep bass, stretching delays and stepper rhythms, while remaining open to electro detours and world influences. Here, dub is not a fixed genre but a method of playing and mixing in real time: versions are unfolded, deconstructed and tinkered with, then recombined in the service of groove and on-stage dynamics. High Tone, the Lyon collective, arrives with its sense of grainy textures, tight skanks and hypnotic constructions inherited from sound-system culture. Zenzile brings its mastery of atmosphere, from analog keyboards to supple basslines, crafting pieces that breathe and transform as the live set progresses. Together they sign as Zentone, a shared material where echoes, breaks and improvisation let the music circulate. See you at the Rockstore Montpellier on May 8, 2026.
