Grand Corps Malade

Grand Corps Malade resumes touring in 2027 and will stop at the Zénith Toulouse Métropole in Toulouse on 21 January 2027. A leading figure of French slam, Fabien Marsaud delivers his spoken‑sung texts on stage, between portraits, memories and everyday snapshots. His deep voice, precise phrasing and spare arrangements — piano, strings, percussion — place the words at the center, without artifice. The concert alternates emblematic songs and more recent tracks, with narrated transitions, anecdotes and a tempo that allows silences to breathe. It presents stories of love, friendship, city life and childhood, in a constant interplay between poetry and song, at the border between rap and popular music. Surrounded by his musicians, Grand Corps Malade plays on the balance between narration and musicality, attentive to the venue’s acoustics and the dynamic flow of the set. An evening designed to listen to the texts as much as to the music, close to what defines the DNA of slam.
