Info

On March 6, 2026 at the Halle Verrière Meisenthal, Barcella presents a children’s concert built around Tournepouce, a character he imagined to blend storytelling and songs. A singer-songwriter and slam poet, he takes children on a musical journey where the language bounces, the guitar leads the way and the imagination opens wide.

Tournepouce lives atop a mountain, tucked away in an old hat factory that serves as his refuge. Alone, he dozes, watches the clouds go by and invents epic tales to keep boredom at bay. On stage, the story unfolds by alternating sung pieces and narrated passages, following his adventures until one summer morning when the wind upends his routine and pushes him to leave his comfort zone. Barcella unfolds this tale with simple, rhythmic words, melodies to sing along with and a clear narration that invites listeners to listen closely and let themselves be carried away.

Duration of the show: 55 minutes. Recommended age: from 6 years.
