Les Chevaliers du Fiel

Les Chevaliers du Fiel return to their favorite playground at La Comédie de Toulouse in Toulouse on March 28, 2026. The Toulouse duo, Éric Carrière and Francis Ginibre, carry on their gallery of familiar characters, drawn from everyday observations and finely honed dialogue. We find Christian Lambert, a signature character, who takes Martine along for a trip to Dubai. The city becomes a changing backdrop where the couple comes up against glitzy codes, ordinary contradictions and the mirages of a much-discussed destination, caught between cultural mismatches and the small habits that persist.

On stage, Carrière and Ginibre perform about a dozen roles, moving from one character to another with precise mechanics. Eric Carrière’s writing favors situations and lines without overloading them. Their complicity, clear staging and tight pacing give the characters room to breathe, alternating between sharp portraits and scenes that ring true. Regulars of the Lamberts will find their bearings, while newcomers will immediately grasp what defines Les Chevaliers du Fiel: a close-to-home humor delivered by two actors who know their creations inside out.
