Deep Purple is one of those bands that helped shape the sound of rock and left a mark on several generations. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and with more than 100 million albums sold, the band continues to bring to life on stage a repertoire that has made a lasting impression on the history of hard rock. On 10 November 2026 at the Zénith de Strasbourg Eckbolsheim, the current line-up led by Ian Gillan will be on stage to support their latest album, =1, released in 2024 — the first record in which guitarist Simon McBride fully takes centre stage.
In concert, Deep Purple alternates new compositions with the classics that established their reputation, from "Highway Star" and "Lazy" to "Perfect Strangers", not to mention "Smoke on the Water", a track known well beyond rock fans. The French tour shows a band that embraces its heritage while moving forward with new songs designed for the stage, featuring that blend of riffs, organ and improvisation that remains the trademark of the British group.
