Benjamin Biolay

Benjamin Biolay continues his run on the concert circuit with Le Disque Bleu, a new collection of songs that extends his precise songwriting and his manner of blending modern pop with chanson. A songwriter, arranger and musician, he moves forward with a low, recognizably textured voice, finely wrought lyrics and harmonies that favor subtlety. On stage, the new pieces converse with his repertoire in arrangements where guitars and keyboards hold the line, backed by a taut rhythm section, brass used as punctuation and strings rendered in chiaroscuro. Attention is paid to the words, to the breaths and to the counter-melodies that develop each song without overburdening it. Since the start of his career, Biolay has explored the crossings between chanson, pop and film music, written for others and refined a sound that prefers discreet tension to easy effects. On 31 October 2026 at ED&N Sausheim, he will present Le Disque Bleu live, between unreleased material and signature tracks, for a restrained, melodic and direct set.
