Les Wampas take the stage with their sharp rock, born in the late 1980s somewhere between dry punk, yéyé-era zest and sly humour. Fronted by Didier Wampas, the band delivers taut riffs, bursting backing vocals and choruses that catch fast, oscillating between shaky love songs and street-level vignettes. On stage the approach remains direct: screeching guitars, a racing bass, nervous drums, without heavy nostalgia.
