Ibrahim Maalouf

On March 28, 2026, Ibrahim Maalouf presents T.O.M.A – Trumpets of Michel Ange at Le Millesium in Épernay. After 17 albums and a Grammy Award nomination, the Franco-Lebanese trumpeter returns with a project that links traditions and contemporary sounds. T.O.M.A is, first and foremost, a hybrid album in which Eastern sounds, both festive and nostalgic, run through arrangements conceived for the stage. True to his artistic line, Maalouf creates music that is demanding yet open, carried by a sense of narrative and melody that speaks as much to the curious as to long-time followers.

T.O.M.A is also a line of trumpets developed with French craftspeople, built around a unique instrument designed more than half a century ago by his father. It is on this trumpet that Maalouf plays and trains a new generation of musicians, extending instrument-making craftsmanship as well as a pedagogical approach. On stage, the project brings together guest musicians and audiences from all horizons, guided by the simple idea of sharing a common moment. Between the album, instrument production, and the transmission of knowledge, Ibrahim Maalouf forges a path where creation is experienced as much as it is heard, offering another way of thinking about the concert.
