Venue change: the La Dispute concert scheduled for March 14, 2026 at La Maroquinerie will take place at the Théâtre de l'Alhambra.
La Dispute, a post-hardcore band from Michigan, returns with No One Was Driving The Car, their first entirely self-produced album. Since Panorama, the five-piece celebrated the ten-year anniversaries of Wildlife and Rooms Of The House and then resumed writing and recording on the move, between Grand Rapids, Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Philippines. Carried by Jordan Dreyer’s alternately spoken and raspy voice, this fifth record probes a contemporary unease, influenced by the film First Reformed and by stories of autonomous vehicles that challenge our notion of control. Fourteen taut tracks, sharpened guitars and a tight rhythm section feed this existential thread, between ambient chaos and a need for security. On March 14, 2026 at La Maroquinerie Paris, La Dispute will present these new songs alongside Jordan Dreyer (vocals), Brad Vander Lugt (drums), Chad Morgan‑Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino (guitars) and Adam Vass (bass). Opening acts will be VS Self and Pijn.
